Senior Vice President of Product Management, Asia Pacific & Member of Board of Directors at Aruze Gaming Australia Pty Ltd

I have 15 years of experience working in the gaming industry as various management roles in R&D, Sales and Executive level, and have seen many professionals come and go. Terence was my direct report as Art Design Manager when I was working as Senior Director of International R&D at Konami Gaming, Inc. in Las Vegas for two years. We developed various gaming contents together, and Terence showed a wonderful talent for art design, excellent management skills and teamwork. In addition, he is an open minded, professional, and reliable person. Please let me describe three examples of Terence’s strengths below.
First, Terence brought great value to Konami’s business with his universal and creative art design skills and management skills. During our time together, he directed and supervised arts of many Asian themed games mainly targeted for Asian markets. He understands gaming market trends and instincts for art designs, which attract patrons for gaming products. Graphics designs he supervised were well received by many customers and these products contributed to the company’s sales successfully.
Second, a team player, Terence worked well with his colleagues in R&D such as game designers and software engineers and 3rd party companies. He proactively communicated with them to improve and lead our products to success in the markets. As our projects sometimes involved outsourcing companies for game design or localization, he used both written and verbal communications with them effectively.
Finally, his coaching skills impressed me. He hired and trained a graduate who did not have any experience to design gaming contents. Through Terence’s coaching, this artist developed her art design skills fit to the gaming industry very quickly. I observed that Terrence patiently and professionally reviewed and gave her feedback in detail. Under Terence’s supervision, games that she designed generated a great outcome.
Terence is a talented artist and excellent manager. I am confident that he will become a valuable employee and gain for you.

In my time at Konami I have been a Game Designer, the Manager of Studios and now a Producer III. In all three capacities at Konami I had the honor of working with Terence for two years in various roles.
As a Game Designer, Terence acted as the lead artist on projects that were under my control. Terence has a great eye for detail and managed the art pipeline for my projects very smoothly. I very much appreciated his ability to maintain a professional demeanor and keep the art team moving forward on projects under stressful conditions.
As the Manager of Studios, Terence became my direct report and took control of a fully functional, cross discipline team as a Studio Manager. He was able to adopt a new development methodology and guide his studio to success. Terence’s team management style was very effective. He has a soft touch but is goal oriented and was very efficient in meeting development needs while promoting the careers of the people on his team. He was instrumental in bringing not just his team, but the other teams up to speed with the change in development methodologies. It was a pleasure working with him in this aspect.
As a Producer III I didn’t get a lot of time to work with Terence before our industry changed due to current world events. He managed two localization projects before separating from the company. As always, his attention to detail and diligence made the projects easy.
It was a great disappointment to me that Terence left the company. I have enjoyed the relationship that we had over the time we worked together. He is a solid guy that knows how to lead a team and maintain composure even in difficult situations. He has an excellent leadership style and I will miss working with him. Given the opportunity, I would work with or for Terence again without hesitation.

When I met terence, i was  working as a series director for klasky csupo, an independent animation studio affiliated with nickelodeon networks and viacom.

I was the director of the series "rocket power". terence was my direct report as a storyboard artist for the same series.

terence had incredible work ethics. he is a highly educated and well trained artist who is very particular about production details.

He possesses talents and abilities essential in the creation of animated shows. He is an asset to the animation industry and the art community.

Dan kuenster

award winning animation director

terence is a well trained professional. his attitude and skill level illustrates this. he is able to couple his technical knowledge of animation and brilliant artistry to produce fun and lively animated sequences, which very much reflects his fun and spirited persona. terence's enthusiastic dedication and determination has made him a pleasure to work with, and his attention to detail and diligence in performing his artistic duties while meeting production deadlines have made him a valuable member of the animation department. he is a true artist and a pleasure to work with.
